This project profile is prepared in order to provide the information on the opportunity for an investor to set up a confectionary and bakery products using desiccated coconut as a major ingredient that having good economic viability in Sri Lanka as a food ingredient since, coconut is a major cash crop and can be cultivated satisfactory in Sri Lankan climate. Other major ingredients used such as rice flour is purchased from local producers and the rice flakes and dehydrated leafy vegetables are produced at the processing plant itself. All the raw materials need to be satisfied the requirements of national and international standards.
